If The Black Santa Houston needs to postpone photos until next year, or you choose to cancel your session, a credit will be provided for The Black Santa Houston photos or services. There will be no refunds.

  • Yes. Parents and siblings are welcome to participate in your session at no additional cost.

    For families larger than 5 guests, we recommend reserving two back-to-back sessions to allow additional time and ensure the best overall experience.

  • Santa Sessions are perfect for children and families of all ages, including newborns and baby's first Christmas portraits.

    For newborns and infants, we recommend scheduling your session during your child’s happiest time of day, typically after a nap or feeding.

    Children between approximately 1.5 to 3.5 years old may occasionally feel shy or emotional during sessions, and that is completely normal. Our team is experienced in working patiently with little ones to create a relaxed and memorable experience.

  • Some children, especially toddlers between 1.5 and 3.5 years old, may feel overwhelmed or emotional during their visit with Santa. No worries at all, this is very common.

    Our team creates a calm, guided, and patient environment, and Santa is experienced in helping children feel comfortable throughout the session. Sometimes the sweetest holiday memories come from those perfectly imperfect moments.

    Sensory Friendly Sessions are also available for children with sensory sensitivities or special needs accommodations.

  • Yes. Our Sensory Friendly Sessions are thoughtfully designed to provide improved comfort and enjoyment for children with sensory sensitivities and special needs.

    These sessions include:

    • 15 minutes of photography

    • Reduced lighting and music

    • 4 lightly retouched digital images of your choice + all session images

    • Staff support for families requiring accommodations

    • Parents and siblings included

    • Social media photo opportunity inside the studio

    • Option to purchase additional images

    Please reserve these sessions only if your child or family requires sensory or special needs accommodations.

  • Yes. Pets are welcome during select sessions with the required Pet Add-On selected during booking.

    For the comfort and safety of all guests, pets must remain leashed or secured when not actively being photographed.

  • Your private online proofing gallery will be available approximately 5 business days after your session.

    From your gallery, you will be able to select your included images and purchase additional digital images, upgrades, and photo packages if desired.

  • Yes. We offer both flexible deposit options and pay-over-time solutions for qualifying clients.

    To reserve your session, a non-refundable 50% retainer is required at booking, with the remaining balance due prior to your appointment date.

    • Busy patterns that distract from the portraits

    Additional time or No Santa session upgrades may be available depending on your selected package and appointment availability.
